Mykonos Wellness Retreat Led by Instructors from CorePower Yoga

Mykonos Wellness Retreat
September 14–20, 2026

There are places people visit because they are beautiful. And then there are places they return to because something in them begins to wake up. Greece has always been one of those places.

For thousands of years, people have come to these shores in search of light, clarity, healing, beauty, movement, wisdom, and meaning. They came to honor the body, to gather around tables, to listen to stories, and to remember what it means to live well. This retreat in Mykonos is created in that spirit.

At its heart is yoga. Led by Dave Porter and Beth O’Reilly, the week unfolds through a daily rhythm of movement, breath, strength, restoration, and connection. Morning and evening practices anchor the experience, creating space to return to the body, quiet the mind, and settle into the natural energy of the Aegean.

Around that heart, the retreat offers the soul of Greece. Through the Greek America Foundation’s Homecoming Journeys collection, guests are invited into Greece not simply as a destination, but as a source — of beauty, hospitality, nourishment, story, and wisdom. Throughout the week, Gregory Pappas will weave elements of Greek history, mythology, food, language, and tradition into the experience in ways that feel intimate, human, and alive

Meals are a central part of the retreat. Prepared daily with care and intention, they reflect the rhythms of the Greek table: seasonal, generous, beautiful, and deeply connected to place. With three meals included each day, food becomes not just part of the schedule, but part of the meaning of the week.

The retreat is based in a private luxury villa in Mykonos, creating a sense of ease, privacy, and shared atmosphere throughout the experience. It is a place for practice, rest, conversation, stillness, and the simple pleasure of being together under the island sky.

Each day is shaped by Greek ways of understanding life, balance, joy, welcome, and belonging — ideas that have guided local life for centuries and continue to mesmerize those who encounter them. Woven gently through the retreat in meals, notes, storytelling, conversation, and optional experiences, they give the week a deeper rhythm, emotional texture, and sense of meaning.

This is a retreat designed to unfold with beauty and intention — spacious, grounding, and deeply nourishing from beginning to end.

Around the Table

Food is one of the great pleasures of this retreat.Three meals daily are included, each prepared with care and rooted in the flavors, traditions, and generosity of the Greek table. Meals are designed not only to nourish, but to deepen the experience of place — turning breakfast, lunch, and dinner into moments of beauty, connection, and story. Throughout the week, food becomes part of the rhythm of the retreat: seasonal, fresh, vibrant, and deeply tied to the land and culture around you. Some meals will carry their own themes, stories, and culinary notes, offering guests a more intimate experience of Greece through taste, memory, and tradition.

Harmony: Your Home Away from Home

Harmony Retreat is not simply where this journey unfolds—it is one of the reasons it feels extraordinary. Poised on a hillside above the southern coast of Mykonos, this private villa sanctuary commands sweeping views across the Aegean toward Paros, Antiparos, and Naxos, with sea and sky stretching endlessly beyond. From nearly every corner of the property, the eye is drawn outward to a panorama of light, water, and distant islands, creating the feeling of being suspended between horizon and heaven.

Composed of two identical eight-bedroom villas, Harmony Retreat offers a rare balance of grandeur and intimacy. The estate is expansive enough to feel like a world unto itself, yet thoughtfully designed so that guests can move easily between shared moments and complete privacy.

Two infinity pools appear to dissolve into the sea beyond, while additional round pools, sun-drenched terraces, covered dining spaces, gardens, and lounge areas create a sequence of beautiful settings for every mood of the day—from quiet morning coffee to sunset conversation and elegant dinners under the open sky.

The sense of privacy here is one of the property’s greatest luxuries. Although just a short walk from Paraga and Paradise beaches and within easy reach of Mykonos Town and the airport, the retreat feels wonderfully removed from the outside world—serene, secluded, and entirely its own. Guests are held in a setting that offers both convenience and escape, where the island’s energy is close at hand, but never intrusive.

Inside, the villa is bright, spacious, and quietly refined. Across the two residences are sixteen en-suite bedrooms, many with verandas and balconies that open to sea air and island light. Large indoor living and dining areas, fully equipped modern kitchens, plush bedding, luxury linens, walk-in showers, and airy interiors all contribute to an atmosphere of effortless comfort.

What makes Harmony Retreat so compelling for this experience is the way it allows luxury to feel restorative rather than showy. It offers beauty without excess, privacy without isolation, and a kind of quiet elegance that perfectly suits a yoga and wellness retreat. This is a place where guests can gather in community, then retreat into stillness; where mornings begin in light and silence, and evenings close with the sea shimmering below. In every sense, Harmony Retreat feels less like a villa and more like a private Mykonian sanctuary.

Getting to Mykonos

Your international travel to Mykonos International Airport (JMK) is not included in the package. You must plan your arrival during the day of Monday, September 14, 2026.

There are many options for you to consider. Mykonos has frequent daily flights from Athens, as well as many major European airports.

Depending upon your departure city in North America, you can opt to fly into Athens and connect to Mykonos with a domestic flight on Aegean Airlines or SkyExpress. Another option is to fly into a European city that has non-stop connections to Mykonos (bypassing Athens).

We can help you plan your international travel, as well as any pre or post retreat stop-overs you might want to plan. We have available to you a dedicated agency partner you can work with to secure the best travel options for your budget and schedule.

Day by Day

Each day is shaped by Greek ways of understanding life, balance, joy, welcome, and belonging — ideas that have guided local life for centuries and continue to mesmerize those who encounter them. Woven gently through the retreat during yoga sessions, in meals, notes, storytelling, conversation, and optional experiences, they give the week a deeper rhythm, emotional texture, and sense of meaning. The excursion includes three curated meals daily. Optional excursions at an additional cost are also woven into the week, but not mandatory.

Monday, September 14
Philoxenia | The sacred art of welcome

Guests arrive in Mykonos and are welcomed with transfers from the airport or port to the villa. From the moment of arrival, the retreat begins to shift the pace of the week — away from motion and toward presence. There is time to settle in, exhale, and take in the beauty of the setting before gathering for a welcome dinner, the first shared table of the journey and the beginning of the retreat’s rhythm of movement, nourishment, and connection.

Tuesday, September 15
Sophrosyne | Balance, harmony, the right measure

The first full day begins to establish the rhythm of the retreat: yoga, nourishing meals, time to rest, and moments of connection woven naturally throughout the day. There is no rush here. The experience is designed to unfold with ease, allowing guests to settle more deeply into the island, into the group, and into themselves. What begins to emerge is not simply relaxation, but a different quality of attention — slower, fuller, and more alive.

Wednesday, September 16
Meraki | Doing something with soul

As the week continues, the retreat begins to take on greater depth. The practices, the table, the setting, and the quiet rituals of the day all begin to work together, creating a stronger sense of grounding and belonging. Care, intention, and presence shape the experience in ways both seen and unseen. Optional experiences may invite guests to go deeper, while the villa remains a constant space of beauty, ease, and return.

Thursday, September 17
Fos | Light, clarity, illumination

By now, the retreat opens into something even more spacious. Guests have time to rest, reflect, swim, read, connect, or simply do nothing at all — which, in a setting like this, becomes its own kind of gift. Yoga continues to anchor the day, while the meals, conversations, and atmosphere of the villa create a quiet sense of coherence. For those who wish, optional experiences may offer another encounter with Greece through light, story, and revelation.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION: Delos Island guided excursion to the birthplace of Artemis and Apollo. (Available at an additional cost)

Friday, September 18
Gaia | Earth, ground, nourishment

The energy of the week begins to deepen into something more rooted. Whether guests choose to remain close to the villa or opt into an experience shaped by land, tradition, and local life, the day carries a sense of grounding and return. There is beauty in the island’s outward glamour, but there is another kind of beauty too — quieter, older, and closer to the earth. This day invites guests into that feeling.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION: Rizes Farm & Traditional Greek Village Experience. (Available at an additional cost)

Saturday, September 19
Thalassa and Kefi | Sea, joy, and aliveness

The final full day carries a different energy: more open, more celebratory, and touched with gratitude. Whether shaped by the sea, music, laughter, or one last long meal together, the day becomes an expression of something deeply Greek — the joy of being fully alive in the company of others. By now, what was unfamiliar has become intimate. The group has found its rhythm. The villa feels like a temporary home. The experience begins to settle into memory even as it is still being lived.

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS: Morning Catamaran Cruise to Rhenia and surrounding islands and Sunset vibes with Valeron at Scorpios

Sunday, September 20
Departure

After breakfast, guests depart Mykonos and transfer to the airport or port for the journey home. What they leave with is more than the memory of a beautiful island. They leave with the feeling of having stepped into a different rhythm of life for a week — one shaped by movement, rest, generosity, beauty, and the deeper pleasures of being fully present.

Optional Excursions

A curated selection of optional experiences will be available throughout the week for guests who wish to deepen their connection to Mykonos and the surrounding Aegean. These include time at sea, sacred history, village traditions, music, wine, and dance-- each one chosen to complement the retreat rather than compete with it. Guests are free to keep the week simple and restorative, or to add experiences that reflect their own curiosity and rhythm. (Note: Optional excursions can be reserved up to three weeks prior to the beginning of the excursion)

Delos Excursion

A journey to Delos is not simply an excursion. It is an approach to something sacred. Just across the water from Mykonos lies one of the most powerful landscapes of the ancient world — an island long believed to be the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, and revered in antiquity as the omphalos, the spiritual center of the surrounding Cyclades. To step onto Delos is to leave behind the rhythms of modern life and enter a world shaped by myth, brilliance, silence, and stone. With a guided exploration of the site, guests are invited into the deeper currents of Greece: the sacred geography, the grandeur of ancient devotion, and the astonishing sense that this sun-drenched island still holds memory in its ruins. For those drawn to history, spirit, and the luminous force of the ancient Greek imagination, Delos offers an unforgettable encounter — stark, beautiful, and quietly overwhelming.

Rizes Village Excursion

Rizes offers a different Mykonos — one that existed long before the beach clubs, the glossy postcards, and the polished modern image of the island. This is an experience rooted in the textures of older island life: bread, craft, tradition, land, and the quiet dignity of daily rituals that have shaped generations. Here, Mykonos reveals its more intimate face — not performative, but deeply felt. Guests are invited into a world of memory and making, where hospitality is instinctive, simplicity is beautiful, and the rhythms of the village still carry something timeless. For those who want to feel the island more deeply, Rizes is a return to source. It is an invitation to slow down, to touch something real, and to encounter Mykonos not as spectacle, but as inheritance.

Catamaran Cruise to Rhenia & Islets

There is no better way to understand the Aegean than from the water. This experience opens the week outward into sea, sky, and freedom, carrying guests to Rhenia and to secluded beaches accessible only by boat. Here, the Cyclades feel as they should: elemental, unguarded, and impossibly clear. The sea is pristine, the coves are quiet, and the day unfolds with that distinctly Greek sense of release that comes when time softens and nothing is required of you but presence. There will be time to swim in crystalline water, drift beneath the open sky, and take in the surrounding islands from the most beautiful vantage point of all — the deck of a boat in the middle of the Aegean. Lunch on board becomes part of the pleasure, simple and sunlit and unforgettable. This is Thalassa in its purest form: movement, beauty, mystery, and the deep exhale of being carried by the sea.

Scorpios at Sunset

For those who want to experience Mykonos in its most magnetic and emotionally charged form, an evening at Scorpios is pure kefi. As the sun lowers and the sky turns molten over the sea, the atmosphere begins to shift. Music rises. The light softens. The island seems to gather itself into one long, sensuous moment of rhythm, release, and collective energy. This is not simply nightlife. It is Mykonos at its most seductive and alive — where beauty, sound, movement, and human connection blur into something almost ritualistic. On this evening, Valeron returns to Scorpios with his band for a live performance shaped by traditional melodies reimagined for the modern dancefloor. Virtuosic instrumentation, driving rhythms, and the emotional charge of live music create the kind of experience that feels at once ancient and contemporary, intimate and expansive. It is celebratory, transportive, and deeply Greek in spirit — a final immersion into the joy, energy, and aliveness that kefi was always meant to evoke. *Includes wine and a reserved table with a sunset view.
